Been brewing and an active member of a local HB club since 2002. Are there any other AZ brewers on this site? I do EG and PM brews and am currently building a HERMS. Just picked up 5 sankes @ $15 each from a brewery. I know, I know, why have 5 instead of 3? The extra 2 are for bulk primaries.

I'm a "partial-brewer"...for the "newbies", that means I use extracts and specialty grains. I've been brewing for about 20 years now and can safely say...I'd prefer my beer to just about any comercially available beer. (and to deflate my ego slightly...the reason I prefer my own is that IT'S FRESH...which is the best beer that there is!!)
I live in the mid-Michigan area and rarely brew the same brew twice in a row. My latest bottling is a Maple porter which I hope to try next week.

Hello, Hello, is this thing on...
I'm a kit brewer at present, I get very consistent results that way. I've been brewing for about 5-6yrs. now and hope to continue until they use me as fertilizer for my hops.
I live in the Placerville, CA area. Check out my signature for what's up in my brewing.
I will defiantly be around.
