Tastes like bad orange juice

I brewed up a batch that a friend gave me a recipe for. Here's the recipe...
3.5 lb light DME
3 lb clover honey
1.5 oz Cascade Hops - boiling
.5 oz Cascade Hops - finishing
1 pkg ale yeast
I followed his instructions to the letter. But now, the finished beer, though drinkable, has this off flavor kinda of like the taste of orange juice that's starting to sour.
I had a buddy try it last night and he loved it, but to me, it's, well, hard to drink.
Any ideas?

Key word here is cascade hops. Cascade hops is either famous, or infamous (depending on your tastes) for imparting a citrus like flavor to beer, especially if used for finishing/aroma.
While there are definitely some types of bacteria that tend to provide a rotten citrus flavor due to poor sanitation, I think what you are experiencing is due to the cascade.
Some people love the flavor, others (me for example) hate it. That's why your friend liked you and you don't.
I usually sub centennial whenever I see a recipe call for cascade aroma/finishing hops, but that's just my prefernce.
I also dislike the taste
I also dislike the taste actually i hate it so much if i had to drink it i'd probably end up in alcohol treatment. I don't like to many flavored beers or beers that people try and go out of their way to flavor.
